In February, 2005, YouTube appeared on the Internet with all kinds of videos and in October, 2006, was bought by Google for 1.65 billion dollars. Since then it operates as Google’s subsidiary company.

In 2006 YouTube was presented by the magazine Time as the invention of the year and after all those years it has definitely confirmed this title. The company announced that it has reached the point, where every minute 100 extra hours of video are added. And each month it has more than 1 billion visitors! Two years ago the users were uploading 48 hours video every minute, as the number increased to 72 the last year and finally reached 100.
