A new generation of Facebook freedom fighters are using technology to come together and organize strikes and protests against the Hosni Mubarak regime of fear.

While many of the people who grew up with fear about talking anything to do with politics, the younger generation is standing up for the freedoms they believe they deserve.

At the moment, the Egyptian government cannot stop nor control Facebook – or other social networking sites – so it is the perfect place to gather for a movement.

Whether they are finally able to change things for the better in Egypt or not remains to be seen.
