This African animal has to be one of the weirdest I’ve ever seen. It looks like some sort of cross between an aardvark and an artichoke! Meet the pangolin.

This imposing figure isn’t really as intimidating as he first appears. You see, while his scales might look scary, the pangolin doesn’t have any teeth at all!

But he doesn’t let that stop him from grabbing some grub on the go. A termite mound has thousands of tasty treats, just waiting to be lapped up by the pangolin’s long sticky tongue.

He might not be as cute as a monkey or a puppy, but I think the pangolin’s pretty cool!
