The ‘Video Your Vote’ movement on YouTube has certainly spawned a number of interesting voting occurrences. Take this one for example, showing a ballot drop-off point at a McDonalds.

Of all places!

Those who want to order food at the drive-through go towards the left and those that want to cast their ballot veer to the right. Of course, the majority of cars seen in this clip choose the drive-through. Way to reaffirm the American stereotype on camera.

Where I live (Atlanta), I didn’t manage to see anything of this sort on election day, but I guess Portland, Oregon is different. After all, the entire state is known for not having any polling places (all votes are cast by ballots). Even financially speaking, it’s good business for McDonalds.

Something tells me Burger King will catch on by the next election.
