John from Wales thinks he is Tom Jones. The problem is he’s not tanned, good looking or a great singer. The only thing they have in common is being quite tall… not really something to shout about.

This guy is a maths teacher/mathematics professor so isn’t exactly what you’d call stupid. But he is slightly deluded, thinking he not only has The X Factor, but also the Y & Z factor. Hmm ok then.

Firstly he had trouble opening the door to get in to see the judges. That’s not really a good start is it, I started fearing the worst right away.

Some of the moments in the audition were actually ok, with the longer notes in tune and held for a long time. Unfortunately he rushed it, and did one of those ‘Dad dancing at a wedding‘ type dances.

The judges rightly rounded on him, although they admitted he was very entertaining.

He just doesn’t seem to be able to understand or believe the responses he gets. He loses everyone’s sympathy when he states that “Tom Jones can’t sing, and never could!”. As Simon Cowell said “Absolutely barking.”
