Amazing Jimi Hendrix Playing Berkeley 1970 (Video) | Legendary Concert Finally Released

It’s been over 40 years, yet there still aren’t many guitarists that can do what Jimi does in this video. He’s a true artist in the midst of pushing boundaries.

Sadly, the man passed away just a few months after playing this concert.

Sure, I’ve seen a few big rappers and indie bands come through my University, but nothing that left me speechless. For an artist to come to a school and play around the height of their popularity, it takes more than money.

You can certainly see the passion that this guy plays with- simply legendary. No doubt, his mere presence at Berkeley in the 1960’s was highly influential. The full release comes out this month.
