Ukuleles are amazing instruments. Easy to pick up and play, light and portable, and, in the right hands, a joy to listen to.
However, ukuleles aren’t exactly known for being good instruments on which to play thrash metal standards.
This guy proves that ukes are more than capable of being used to cover the best metal songs. In this video he plays War Ensemble by Slayer.
He nails it too, even managing to get the solos right, which is difficult enough on a guitar let alone a ukulele.
You can see he has some help by using clever technology to augment the performance, but that should take nothing away from this heabanging uke player.
