Amidst all of the drama on the field during Super Bowl LIV (both in the game and the halftime show) something else happened off the field.
Basically, Beyonce, Jay-Z, and Blue Ivy all remained seated during the singing of the national anthem. Which is being seen as a political protest.
We all know about Colin Kaepernick taking a knee during the national anthem, but this is black celebrities choosing to protest in their own way.
Everyone is entitled to do what they want, including staying seated for the national anthem. But this is sure to cause controversy, especially if other people join in.
