Sbigstock--180359395Superstar Beyoncé has become the first influencer to command $1 million per post on social media. The performer has set a precedent that’s hard for any celebrity to beat.

A report from D’Marie analytics says Beyoncé is the “highest valued influencer currently on social media.”

Beyoncé has a staggering 177,605,573 total followers across her social media accounts, a figure that continues to grow daily.

D’Marie uses an algorithm to measure the value of social media posts. That algorithm uses more than 56 metrics across Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. Those metrics include post reach, number of followers, post engagement, and the number of clicks posts receive.

The star’s recent pregnancy post on Instagram quickly became the most liked photo on Instagram, knocking down Selena Gomez, who held the previous record.

The photo received 6.4 million likes and more than 330,000 comments in less than eight hours of posting the photo. The number of likes quickly grew to more than 11 million and the number comments grew to more than 500,000.

According to D-Marie, the value of Bey’s posts isn’t necessarily related to her number of followers, but rather to the authenticity of her content.

In a press release announcing Beyoncé’s feat, D’Marie CEO Frank Spadafora said, “It’s divine to see an individual who rarely uses her social media to publish anything but authentic, non-branded content actually become the most valued individual on social media for advertisers. In fact, I believe it’s due to her limited release of exclusive, curated content which causes such a frenzy from her audience.”

Spadafora said Beyoncé’s social media posting habits should be a lesson to “all those over-saturating their feeds with branded, unentertaining or thoughtless content just to stay in front of their audience and appear relevant.”

D’Marie says Beyoncé’s show-stopping performance on the 2017 Grammys played a role in her steadily-increasing reach on social media platforms.
