This is the new movie trailer for the Conan the Barbarian reboot. Whether you believe iconic or cult films such as this should ever be remade, the film should be regarded in its own right. And I personally think it looks great.
This trailer, and the film as a whole,, is getting a lot of hate on YouTube and across the whole of the Web. And I can’t really understand why.
Many people seem to have fond memories of the original Conan the Barbarian movie, and that’s their right to do so. But I was, and still am not, a fan.
Jason Momoa is a much better actor than Arnie, mainly because Arnie cannot act to save his life. Momoa may not be as muscular, but he makes up for that with much more talent. And that’s surely more important.
Conan the Barbarian is due to be released on August 19, 2011.
