GoDaddy has pulled its Super Bowl ad after receiving a string of complaints from angry animal lovers. Angry animal lovers who don’t possess a sense of humor.
This is the controversial GoDaddy Puppy commercial which was due to air during Super Bowl XLIX before the company pulled it.
It shows a puppy being dumped in a field before managing to beat the odds and make it back home. The owners are pleased to see him, because they have just sold him online.
This ad is a spoof of the Budweiser ad which shows a puppy getting lost before making his way home with help from some horses.
Unfortunately, the humor was lost on the animal lovers who complained about this ad. The spoilsports.
