I never thought I’d live to see the day when Pokemon were the stars of a live-action movie. But that’s exactly what’s happening with Detective Pikachu.
This is a film where Pikachu, the most iconic Pokemon of them all, is brought to life. Hell, he can even speak English, and surprisingly he sounds a lot like Ryan Reynolds.
Detective Pikachu is a really strange idea for a movie, but based on this trailer I’m kind of interested in seeing it.
I suspect most people under a certain age will have played a Pokemon game at least once, the potential audience for this film is huge.
