Plenty of humans are addicted to drugs of some description, whether that’s alcohol, tobacco, or one of the many illegal substances people use to get high.
And it turns out humans aren’t unique in wanting to consume mind-bending substances once in a while.
This video shows lemurs in Madagascar getting high off of millipedes. Or, more accurately off of the toxins millipedes emit to put off predators.
These toxins help protect the lemurs from malaria, but it has a side effect of getting them high. Which is why some of the lemurs in this clip look like their stoned off their faces.
