Larry David is back with a new series of Curb Your Enthusiasm. For those not up to speed on Curb, it’s a sitcom unlike any sitcom you have ever seen before.

David plays an over-the-top caricature of himself. His primary function appears to be getting himself into awkward situations that aren’t easily fixed.

The Curb version of David is a grumpy, grouchy man who doesn’t abide by social norms. He doesn’t see why he should play along with the rest of humanity.

Curb Your Enthusiasm Season 9 looks like being more of the same, with Larry getting himself into all manner of tricky situations. Which is what fans of the show want to see.
