There’s an epic scene in John Wick where the titular character takes out a gang of bad guys sent to kill him. It’s awesome in its own right.
However, it turns out this scene is even better when Keanu Reeves’ moans and groans are replaced with Michael Jackson’s trademark vocal tics.
I don’t know why it works, it just does. And with Michael Jackson having died several years ago, we may have found a way of continuing his career.
A sequel called John Wick: Chapter 2 is due to be released in theaters next month. And if I was the director I’d get back in the editing suite as soon as possible.
