The downside to a collaborative online effort like Wikipedia.org is that basically anyone can bash bands that they don’t like with a few keystrokes. According to this time-lapse video, Nickelback’s Wiki page has been littered with insults for a while.
Nickelback, as in, the “penis rock” band behind smash hits like “How You Remind Me Of How Much I Suck” and albums like “All The Wrong Reasons.”
Contrary to what the people in this video may say about them, I don’t think Nickelback is actually “the worse band to ever live.” In fact, I thoroughly enjoyed all of their albums up to their 2005 release of “All The Right Reasons.” Not by coincidence, of course, this video starts off in 2005.
Still, you can’t deny the the fact that Nickelback is probably one of the most hated bands out right now. Of all the insults directed towards the Canadian band, my favorite has to be “The war in Iraq is a result of Nickelback.” I don’t think it get’s worse than that.
