As you may have already noticed by now, a new Marvel Comics movie is out in theaters, with The Avengers: Age of Ultron having been released last week.
However, while all but one of the male characters have had their own standalone films, The Black Widow has not. Is it because she’s a girl, and Marvel just don’t know how to handle it?
Saturday Night Live thinks so, and they Scarlett Johansson in to prove as much. Because if Marvel did make a Black Widow movie, it would probably be a romantic comedy.
This is a hilarious spoof on the whole comic book genre, which seems to put manliness above all else. Maybe it’s time for a real Black Widow, and don’t make it a rom-com.
