Hilarious The Dudleys Saturday Night Live Sketch Video | Trying To Please Everybody

There is a current trend for trying to please everybody all the time. Among many other things it means television shows and movies have to try to represent every single group of people so as not to offend anyone.

This Saturday Night Live sketch offers a social commentary on that trend, with a fake sitcom called The Dudleys.

This may seem over the top, but this sort of thing is actually happening. Someone, somewhere will complain about something, usually online. And those in charge then tie themselves in knots trying to appease to small minority of complainers.

I’m all for political correctness, meaning we shouldn’t be offending anyone on purpose. But there is only so much one can do before it all gets a little out of hand.
