News of yet another shooting on a university campus last week made headlines around the world, with most expressing sympathy for both the victims and survivors.
Fox News however, chose to try and find the reasons why it happened, and asked so called “expert” Jack Thompson to give his views on the matter.
Unfortunately Jack Thompson has his own political agenda, one which blames popular culture, and in particular video games, for everything that goes wrong in society.
So here we have him blaming violent video games for the Illinois shootings before the police have even given their first press conference, and investigated the real cause.
Video games aren’t to blame, and the sooner politicians and rent-a-quotes realise this, maybe they could start tackling the real reasons for tragic events such as this.
