Yes, Last Week Tonight has taken on televangelists, that strange breed of religious preachers who always want your money. Why? To do God’s work, obviously.
Unfortunately, many of them interpret “doing God’s work” as buying big houses and driving flashy cars. It’s what God would have wanted.
How this is legal I have no idea. But America seems to be riddled with these idiots, and the idiots who keep handing over huge gobs of green month after month.
