Kitchen Gun! Cilit Bang Spoof Commercial Video | From The Peter Serafinowicz Show

25 sec read

Cilit Bang is a cleaning product which was advertised (in the UK at least) by a series of adverts featuring the fictional Barry Scott, an uber annoying voice over man.

Basically, in a half serious spoof of those over the top American infomercials, he demonstrates the product, and uses his enthusiastic booming voice to sell it to you.

This spoof takes Cilit Bang and replaces it with a real gun, cleverly titled Kitchen Gun, which is used by simply shooting the kitchen appliances up, and hey presto, they instantly become clean.

It’s from The Peter Serafinowicz Show, and the level of detail, and trouble they went to for what is essentially a short comedy sketch is brilliant.
