The USADA has banned and stripped Lance Armstrong of this 7 titles due to him not wanting to participate in what Lance calls a “kangaroo court” process (the USADA has a 58-2 record with these cases).
“I know who won those titles,” he says in a recent press release.
I thought this was over with. Then again I don’t pay much attention to the sport of cycling. Had he even been “doping” I’m sure he won against other “dopers” as well so I don’t really see the point of the whole legal process.
Fans of Lance Armstrong probably will remain fans, and haters will remain haters. At the end of his letter he stated, “Going forward, I am going to devote myself to raising my five beautiful (and energetic) kids, fighting cancer, and attempting to be the fittest 40-year-old on the planet.”
