Whether you use and are a fan of Windows operating systems or not, you can’t help but know the logos and sounds the start up screens consist of.
This video shows all of the start up screens back to back, and it’s surprisingly interesting to watch. being a bit of a geek and someone who has used a variety of Windows systems, I have to admit my favourite is XP.
Maybe that’s why the new Vista OS hasn’t really taken off as much as Microsoft had wished, people aren’t willing to lose that XP sound as they boot their computer up.
Or it could be because it’s a system resource heavy failure which people try before realising it’s not good enough. I think I’ll wait for Windows 7 due out in 2010.
