Mira, a star that has long been studied because of its similarities to our Sun, has revealed one of its secrets – a thirteen lightyear long tail.
While I don’t know enough about astronomy to be able to tell you exactly why the trail is occurring, it certainly is a beautiful light.
As the video stated – if we could only see ultraviolet light.
The description of the video – where I found it – describe the trail as violent and deadly, but I am not sure what that is all about…
Just imagine how fast Mira is moving and how much debris there is for it to be showing up on the telescopes like that…
