Wow. If you thought Disney just made kiddy films, think again. Their latest 2010 film Prince Of Persia: Sands Of Time looks to a be a blockbuster comparable to Pirates of The Caribbean.
Even if you’re not a fan of Disney or multi-million dollar Hollywood blockbusters, you have to admit this looks amazing.
The producer of the POTC series worked on this video game adaptation and it looks breathtaking to say the least. Hopefully this film will have the same adventurous feel that the first Pirates movie had. Who knows, Jake Gyllenhaal could be the next Johnny Depp.
I remember playing Prince Of Persia as a kid and I have to say Disney definitely went all out on it’s $200 million budget on making it as close to the game as possible. Aside from the whole white-people-being-Persian thing of course.
But that’s Hollywood for ya.
