So let’s see, this is a crime drama thriller with all the normal junk like hot chicks prostituting, some random body builders, boxers? Where did that come from? Looks like it might be good though. If only the dude who directed “Drive” had done this. Oh wait…he did.
For those who don’t know what this movie is about, here’s a summary: Julian (Ryan Gosling), a drug-smuggler thriving in Bangkok’s criminal underworld, sees his life get even more complicated when his mother (Kristin Scott Thomas) compels him to find and kill whoever is responsible for his brother’s recent death.
This plot line sounds awfully familiar…gangs, Chinese mafia, vengeance for some dead brother…it’s either “Fast & The Furious” or some Irish gang movie. What was that title!?
Anyway, the soundtrack sounds all right and the tag line is pretty cool (Time to meet the devil). So maybe it’s worth seeing if you like these kinda films. It comes out July 19th of this summer so go watch it!
