President Obama recently visited Ireland before flying over to England for a state visit. All was going swimmingly well until the Cadillac carrying him and his wife Michelle got stuck. Oops.
The Beast, as the presidential car is known, grounded itself on a ramp as it left the U.S. Embassy in Dublin.
I wouldn’t mind betting that the President and First Lady had a scary thought, even if just for a moment, that someone was attacking the car. After all, Ireland isn’t the safest country in the world.
The crowds who had gathered to see Obama at first thought it was funny. That was until a bus was pulled in front of the Beast to hide the embarrassing incident from the public. What a wasted day out.
