Please, take the hint, don’t go and see Pain & Gain. It is, by all accounts, a truly terrible movie in every way possible. And it was directed by Michael Bay, naturally.
Michael Bay is not a good movie director. He’s a bad movie director. He always has been and always will. Even if a script is fairly decent when it comes to him, by the time he’s turned it into moving pictures it sucks.
With that in mind it’s really no surprise to hear his latest opus, Pain & Gain, receiving less than stellar reviews. Not only is this a bad film, it’s one which makes light of serious (and fairly recent) crimes of a truly horrific nature.
As long as people keep going to see Michael Bay movies, Michael Bay will carry on making bad movies. Please, give this one a miss and show Hollywood that movie fans aren’t all mindless idiots.
