YouTuber Shane Dawson has come out as bisexual. And no one really gives a crap.
Those who know who he is — an annoying nobody who posts videos online — will still like him, and those who don’t won’t care one iota. Which is as it’s should be.
I’m sure it takes courage for someone to come out, whether as gay, bisexual, or whatever. But in 2015, it’s so common as to be almost meaningless.
If someone decides they don’t like you because of your sexuality then that’s their problem and not yours. And that goes for bisexuals as equally as it does for gays and lesbians.
I wish Dawson well, but I honestly can’t see this changing his life in any way, shape, or form. Except he’ll probably get more offers from both men and women.
