Now I rarely condone random acts of violence. But if that’s what it takes to create a fantastic slow motion video like this, then I’m all for it.
It starts with the set up: slow motion footage of people smoking cigarettes, chewing gum, and generally minding their own business.
The middle teases us a little with big boxing gloves threatening to connect, but never quite getting there. Stay with it.
At the end we’ve got the payoff: some really big hits. Men, women, this anonymous fist is indiscriminant. I don’t want to see anyone get hurt, but I’m still fascinated by the way the faces flop around on impact.
I’ve always said everything is better in slow motion. I think this vid proves my point. At normal speed it’s just mean. In slow motion it’s art.
