The developers of NBA 2k15 decided to ask actual basketball players to voice their characters in the game, rather than employing actors in their place.

Unfortunately, they did this without first checking whether those basketball players could read and recite the script. And the results are painful.

This video shows some of the worst voice acting from NBA 2k15. In fact, this is some of the worst voice acting you’ll have heard in any game.

While this may have made some gamers cringe, it’s actually rather sad, as it means these basketball players can barely read. So it’s a good job they were good at playing sports.
