Christopher Nolan has changed Batman for the better, hopefully for ever. Unless Robin is ever brought back to the series, that is.
This is a sketch showing what might happen were the boy wonder that is Robin from the 1960s brought back into the fold. It’s all rather annoying and embarrassing but actually turns out OK in the end.
We get to see a Bale-style Batman fighting Bane, the main villain in The Dark Knight Rises. And then Robin gatecrashes the party before getting his face smashed in rather badly.
After Batman Begins there was actually talk of bringing Robin back but thankfully common sense prevailed. Why would a billionaire capable of kicking ass ever need a sidekick?
