Today is Dec. 23, which means I can wish you all a Happy Festivus. Who needs Christmas when Festivus is already upon us?

Festivus, for those who don’t know, is the celebration invented by George Costanza’s dad Frank. And this video details the holiday in an episode of Seinfeld.

It’s pretty easy to celebrate Festivus, as there are really only four main traditions involved: The erection of the Festivus pole, the Festivus dinner comprising meatloaf, the airing of grievances where the family tells each other what they really think of them, and the Feats of Strength which takes the form of a wrestling competition.

Happy Festivus to one and all. Enjoy it, and don’t argue or hurt each other too much. Because that will ruin Christmas.
