This is a very short clip from The IT Crowd, a technology related sitcom shown on Channel 4 in the UK which is currently being remade in the US.
The whole show is brilliant, but this particular clip is inspired. The ‘sensible’ character in the IT department is Jen Barber, although she’s less techie, and more administrative than the other two main characters.
She is sat in a boardroom meeting trying to explain what the IT department have been doing recently and comes out with the gem that “If you type Google in to Google, you CAN break the Internet.”
Now, none of you go and try it, just in case it’s true… I said DON’T!
You could try asking Ask what question to ask though, that’s always fun, even though they killed Jeeves off.
