The Lighthouse is the latest film from director Robert Eggers. Having thrilled audiences with The Witch in 2015, Eggers is back with another interesting film.
The Lighthouse stars Willem Dafoe and Robert Pattinson as two lighthouse keepers in charge of a fictional lighthouse in Maine, New England, USA.
Their characters are getting on fine until the loneliness and solitude start to send them mad. They then become threatened by their own worst nightmares.
This video offers a review of The Lighthouse, which had its premiere at the Canne Film Festival in May 2019. It’s being released in select theaters tomorrow (October 18 2019).
