I’ve never seen a video that made me realize how unoriginal modern cinema can be.
It seems people ran out of movie ideas after the 70’s. I can probably think of a ton of movies currently in theatres that have 3 or more of these unoriginal moments in them. And don’t even get me started on trailers that “fade to black.”
However, I’m not really annoyed by the 360 shot. Rather than a cliché, I see it as more of a progression in film making. That shot is a result of new technology. So unless Hollywood decides to go back to using cameras from 30 years ago, I don’t see it disappearing anytime soon.
