“Portland police are asking for any information following a deadly shooting Sunday night that also left two young children injured. It was the second mass shooting in a notably violent holiday weekend.
“According to the police bureau, officers responded around 10:37 p.m. to a report of a traffic collision on Southeast Foster Road near the intersection with 128th Street.
“As police were heading to the area, they received further calls about gunshots.
“When they arrived, officers found a woman in a vehicle was dead from a gunshot wound, and a man and two children were injured.
“The three injured people were taken to local hospitals. The man is in critical condition but expected to survive, and the children are in stable condition, according to police.”
