Otto Warmbier, only 22 years old, has passed away only a week after finally returning home from North Korea.
Otto was serving a term of fifteen years hard labour for allegedly trying to steal a sign from a hotel.
Fifteen months into that sentence, he was returned to his family on ‘humanitarian grounds’ after reportedly being in a coma for a year after ‘contracting botulism’.
However, US doctors are disputing that diagnosis, and many believe that Otto was subjected to horrendous treatment and even torture that resulted in him being left in a vegetative state.
