I love my energetic pup, and no one is going to convince me that she doesn’t love me just as much. That being said…
I think it’s really cool that they are exploring the idea that we can maybe register love in our close furry companions.
However, the whole ‘we fed them and then we became friends’ thing doesn’t quite explain the utter devotion that dogs have.
I want to know why there’s the difference between their devotion and the kind of devotion (or lack thereof) in other animals that we have domesticated.
But for now, we’ll stick with love.
