The Oatmeal is one of the top webcomics out there. Creator Matthew Inman talks about creating the site, his ideas and how he drove traffic to it. He also offers up some advice on how to create successful viral marketing campaigns.
For being one of the top webcomics out there, I haven’t heard of it before… but that really doesn’t mean much.
This video just goes to show how much you can do with a good idea you can expand on. I’m sure Inman didn’t think he would be getting five million unique viewers when he first started out.
