In what is perhaps one of the most popular cases concerning aggressive interrogations resulting in false confessions, Michael Crowe was forced to confess to the murder of his younger sister.
As the video states, thankfully there was evidence to show that Michael didn’t do what they pushed him to confess and later Richard Tuitte was convicted of killing Stephanie Crowe.
According to news sources, “Monday… the family of… Stephanie and… Michael Crowe settled with Dr. Lawrence Blum [a psychologist who took part in the aggressive interrogation] for just under $1 million last week, and a federal judge approved the move.”
Well, at least that is something.
