I haven’t played the games either…
So don’t get me wrong – I really enjoyed this show, but I am so, so, so glad someone else is talking about the passage of time.
You get the hang of it eventually, but it’s so confusing at times. You don’t know which way you are going. That to me feels like more getting used to game mechanics than reading a book, but yet this show is based on the books.
(Which I fully intend to read now, like thousands of other people.)
It’s not an easy thing by any means to create an adaptation, and they certainly did very well. I just hope there are a few small tweaks made for the seasons to come.
