Happy Halloween.
When I was younger, about four years old or so, I had this… Well, many would call it a dream, but it felt different – even then.
I crawled into bed and then suddenly shot up and out of my body as if in a frantic attempt to escape. There, hovering outside my bedroom window (on the second storey, mind you), I watched in horror as a shadow man stood over my tiny body.
I understood that I was safe in my current form, but I feared for my body.
Nothing happened that night, but the shadow man has stalked me in my nightmares ever since. Even now when I’m in my 30s.
