I was in a long distance relationship for a year before I move to Australia to be with the man who is now my husband.
I can completely understand why at least having a long distance relationship for a part of your time is a good thing.
Technology is great, yes, and contributes to being able to maintain these kind of relationships. But I really think that these kind of relationships force people to communicate more, which is a really strong basis for a relationship.
