“The YouTube website and app went down for users all over the world this afternoon, causing a storm of confusion on social media.
“The reason for the outage has not been made public, although YouTube managed to solve the issue roughly 80 minutes after it indicated it was working on a fix.
“Users took to social media during the outage to report they were unable to access the service.
“A range of errors seemed to be plaguing the platform, from 500 internal server errors to “invalid response” errors.
“Many users encountered a redirect to “https://www.youtube.com/?pbjreload=10” when attempting to load the home page of YouTube.”
