What do you get when you take two movie stars and stick them in a room together? A musical duet, apparently. Who’d have thought?
I guess it shouldn’t be too surprising when the movie stars in question are Zooey Deschanel and Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Two indie actors who have also been known to display their musical sides.
Still, their rendition of What Are You Doing New Year’s Eve? is truly awesome. Gordon-Levitt plays an acoustic guitar, Deschanel a ukulele, and both sing as well.
This brightened my day, which is, when all is said and done, what I look for in a YouTube video. Thank you, Zooey and Joseph. Yeah, we’re on first-name terms now.
