Wow. Did I just see Spiderman climbing up that rock? Did I see some sort of mutated human climbing without ropes? It had to be a mutant—that cliff is so steep!

Nope—he’s not Spiderman, and he’s not a mutant. It’s Dan Osman.

This video shows the late Dan Osman climbing up an insanely steep cliff called Bear’s Reach solo . . . that’s right—with no ropes, no harnesses, no safety cables, and no spotter.

He climbs over 400 feet in just over a minute. This guy was Superman. For someone like me who has no athletic bones in her body, Dan Osman is like God.
