New technology has changed the world completely in the last two decades, and one field which has been changed drastically by this leap forward has been information storage.

When I was a kid doing a project at school, it required a trip to the school library and hours of lesson time to research and rewrite information on any subject or person.

Within twenty years that has changed so that children today can go online and have whole wealths of information available to them in an instant.

And Web 2.0 continues to revolutionise that. With Wikipedia, Digg, YouTube, IMDB, feed readers and a host of other websites, the power of information is quite literally at our fingertips.
