Some of you might suggest that the people of New Zealand have suffered enough this year. But fresh from the Christchurch quake, they’re experiencing a natural disaster of a different kind. Richard Simmons is the star of Air New Zealand’s latest in flight safety video.

This is a very different kind of safety video. I’m sure it’s the first one scored by Yazz, and starring a man wearing a sequined singlet.

OK, so I admit this video is kind of fun. But it’s also disturbing in equal measures. I’m happy to watch it now, but I’m sure those Kiwi frequent flyers are going to tire of it really quickly!
