If you thought barbershop quartets were old guys singing vintage tunes, prepare to be amazed. Short Back and Sides wowed judges and crowds alike with their recent appearance on Australia’s Got Talent.

This talented foursome gave barbershop a new spin with this soaring rendition of Coldplay’s “Viva La Vida.” Individually these guys all have the vocal chops to impress a capella. But when their voices come together the magic really happens.

Who needs a string section when you can harmonize like this? I can’t wait to see what modern songs get the Short Back and Sides treatment in the rest of the competition.
